About The Waco We Care Program....
Waco, We Care is a project in which volunteers join together to help make our community a better place to live. Jeremy Pesina, the director of the project, meets with other volunteers on Saturday mornings in order to conduct clean-up projects at different locations throughout our community. It is also our goal through this project to host events throughout the year that will reach the youth of our city.

My name is Jeremy Pesina, I am the Director of Waco We Care. I am a 23 years old husband and father. I am also the Youth Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Riesel, just outside of Waco. I live my life in complete submission and dedication to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I do my best to be sure that this ministry reflects that as much as possible.
I first became involved with Waco We Care when David Saucedo sent me an email after we met at a youth event. At the time, David had the idea that we could change the world one good deed at a time, so he invited me to get started doing just that. We chose a day, spent a week inviting people and believed that countless Christians from all over would join us in our efforts to change the world. The morning of the clean up, when David, Ryan and myself were the only people to show up, we didn’t miss a beat.
It was very cold and our site was very trashed. We picked up tires, shopping carts, dog bones (gross) and dumpster full of trash. We have to thank EZ Pawn for allowing us to use their big green dumpster. After three hours of cleaning, we had changed the face of the entire block with only three people. I had never been so grossed out and inspired at the same time. We were excited because we knew that if we made this a regular event, we would change this city.
After the clean up we all agreed to make it a regular event and continue to plan for growth. Ryan and I came up with the name Waco We Care and suggested it to David and he loved it. Since that time we have grown tremendously. Right Track Ministries agreed to adopt Waco We Care as an official program and we began taking in donations. We are blessed by God to have such a wonderful outreach ministry in our city. Please feel free to contact me if your are interested in joining our quest to change the world.
